OBD0-OBD1 Conversion!!!
the one question i had was, when you convert to obd1. how do you check for codes ? doesnt obd 1 have like a plug where you just jump it with like a paper clip ? so does the conversion harness come with that ?
just wondering how you would check for codes

yeah i was searching after i posted and found the answer.
but after searching it brought up another question i had. on my stock d15 the sensor for the fans is on the back of the block with 2 wires. i noticed on my b18b, it didnt have that sensor. but i saw a sensor on the thermostat housing
so i was wondering is that, is the thermostat sensor used for the fans ? or do i just ahve to swap that sensor over from my d15 to the b18b so the fans will work ? or a better question, what do i ahve to do to get my fans to work

Welcome to 1998 when using junkyard connectors to mass produce them was the norm.

Word. and that is with all brand new OEM connectors, pins, wires. With pins crimped by the same machine that does it for honda and a subharness for the extra sensors and a full instruction sheets.

Ground the D4 pin on the OBD1 side and the check engine light will flash the code just like OBD1/2.

That is correct, on the OBD1 engines, the fan switch is on the thermo housing. I always suggest extending the wires and changing plugs to use the fan switch on the thermo housing.
