Default 92 integra springs?

I'm thinking about replacing my springs and I've heard good things about the Tein s-tech springs. I'm not a huge fan of a drop of any type and it seems the only kind I can get is one that comes with a 2" drop. I was wondering what disadvantages there would be to dropping it 2 inches. Also, any other suggestions on what I can get? I'm looking for springs that have factory damping rate and as little of a drop as possible. Also, would I need to replace the shocks if I'm going to do this? I have fairly new monroe shocks just recently installed for a leak or will I need to get a new one?

i have s.tech's..

if you use these, you will get a full 2" drop front and back. very very low, my car's about 2.5 inches off the floor. and im on 205/40/17. i have no rubbing at all either. i have them paired up with tokico illumina's which are good for the money. most will tell you to go with koni yellow's. if you have the money, go for them, a little bit stiffer then illumina's IMO.

on setting 1/2 car feel's stock. not very stiff, but you can feel a tad bit difference over stock. 3 is about middle, you can get a stiffer ride, probably like a stock wrx or itr suspension. 4/5 (i just put all mine of 5) isnt bad at all either, but not for the soft hearted. still smooth drive over smooth roads but when you get the small dip's, you'll know they are there.

changing out shock/struts is a must when you do any kind of drop. especially a drop like that the s.tech's give you. umm, you'll def. have to go with a camber kit. 1.5degree - 3.0 degree adjustable kit. either by skunk2, ingall's(sp?), progress, etc.

if the monroe shock's dont allow a drop, or up to a certian drop, you'll be fine up until that point, anything past will blow prematurly(sp?).

you also have eibach which are very good, h&r some people prefer also, you have your ground control coilovers (eibach springs), tein super street damper system, or your basic system, (super street is EDFC compatable, very cool), skunk springs, lots of other options.

eibach isnt going to give you as mean of a drop as tein's will BUT will be a stiffer ride and the rear is going to be a bit higher then front (which is why i went with s.tech's) h.tech's believe it or not are softer for DA's then they are for 94's+. just some FYI.

its all up to how much you want to spend and what you plan on doing, normal street driving, hard cornering (autoX), etc. and your budget

the worst thing about a 2" drop is that you could easily
knock off you oil pan or crack your tranny case
so I dont recommend it for a daily driver....
not only that your tires will be way of line with no traction.
