Default tranny question

can any D series manual tansmission bolt up to any that had an automatic on it??

Attaching to the block as in physically connecting, correct. As long as you remember to add the clutch and the fun stuff associated with a manual drivetrain.

thanx...yeah my buddy blew the motor that had a caruburated d15 in it and I found an automatic civic EX engine swap that I can get a hold of that I think we can stuff in there...thanx for the help

If it was a true CARBed engine then you need to change a lot of items to bring the fuel system up to a FI spec as the pressures involved are about 40ish PSI different.

oh yeah...I was gettting a complete swap from an ex but I would also need a new fuel pump/fuel filter and would I need to run new fuel lines that can handle the higher pressure
