SI supsension VS. Civic Supsension
hey I was wondering if the SI OEM supsension are lower than the Civic EX/ DX/ and LX models. I have a DX, and Im kinda broke, and I want to lower my car, but only an inch, and I dont want to spend alot of money on aftermarket supsension. If the SI supsension is lower than an EX/DX/LX, I was wondering by how much. Thanks

if you're kinda broke just chop your springs.
Honestly, the Si springs are probably a higher spring rate than what you have right now. Also, more than likely they're going to ride higher than what your stockers are at right now. So higher AND rougher ride. You get the worst of both worlds.

No, the si suspension is not lower. The factory height is like a truck, like most other hondas. OOOhhhh and please dont cut your springs, that is the worst thing to do. You might get lucky had have similar spring rates when done, but most likely u will be bouncy all over the place. Just save up and get some springs there around or under $200.
