'94 Legend 3.2 Temp gauge hitting "H" then backing off
Hi -
My 120,000+ miles '94 Legend's temp gauge runs to "H" , stays there for a few mintes then backs off - usually. The first time it did this, I added some anti-freeze, and it stopped happening. It started again - and I haven't noticed any loss of anti-freeze when it is parked. There is, howvever, some of the anti-freeze on the motor -- any suggestions ? I am kinda' in a fix for cash right now, so I really can't afford a mechanic ...

here you go, over 20 pages full of people with the same problem as you.
read up on it and see what you can find out.
imo, i would say check the thermo. you may just have a pocket of hot air.
