Justin Elin wins USTCC Apex’i Rookie of the Year Award

Port Orchard, Washington, November 10, 2004 —

With one round remaining in the 2004 U.S. Touring Car Championship, Justin Elin has secured the Apex Integration Rookie of the Year honors. Finishing on the podium in five out of six races, including a win at California Speedway, Justin Elin has piloted the P1 Motorsports/ T1R Honda Civic to a remarkable string of results in one of America’s most demanding and competitive series. His team manager comments, “Justin is a rare find; the complete package- able to drive a car on the edge but never abuse it, an uncanny awareness and patience on the track, fantastic input on vehicle dynamics, and always positive and humble in attitude.” While currently second in the overall standings this year, Justin Elin plans to return to the U.S. Touring Car Championship in 2005 to compete for the outright series champion title.
