I basically used a peice of masking tape measured from the center of the corner markers.
Then measured from the bottom of the fender made sure both sides were even.
Then put 3 peices of masking tape from the fender seam it was about 3 fingers in size.
Leave the tape on.
I then measured the jdm fender marker light and marked where I needed to make my cut with my dremel.
Start with small cuts first because if you get too big you are screwed and have to get another fender.
Cut until you can get the sidemaker in and out.
Then clean up the burrs with a dremel sanding wheel paint the bear metal areas with touch up paint.
Wire your lights install them and you are done.

Mine came out pretty good for a first time doing it.

I wired them to the lower side turn signals they come on when the parking lights are on and also blink as well.

You can just wire them to the front signals too.
This way they just blink when the turn signal is on.
I used superwhite bulbs in the side markers it's your choice though whatever looks better on your ride.

Goodluck

you wired them to the parking lights? but then, that way, they wont blink unless parking lights are on, right? cuz when your parking lights are off the our peices on the bumper dont blink..

No they still blink.
I wired them to the side front bumper light turn signals. They come on when the parking lights are on and still blink when the signal is on.

Go turn on your lights and look at the front turn signal the side lights will be on.
Then turn off the parking lights and turn on your turn signals the side turn signal will blink. If yours doesn't blink I don't know what to tell you. Mine blink at different rate.

I have a JDM 4g and they dont have sidemarkers like that wired as standard, although there is a connector on each side that isnt used and is taped on the same wires as the front facing indicators.

you probably dont have foglights right?? if not, then those are the connectors for em....if you do, maybe the jdm ones all cam w/connectors even though you dont have markers...

This is how I did mines..... measure it then use a piece of cardboard and cut out a perfect hole for the side markers. Then tape it to your car where you did the measurements. Then use a dremmel and cut out the hole ( make sure you cover up the area around so you dont accidently scratch your paint)

BTW USE GOGGLES.

I have fender/wing sidemarkers but The 'dormant' reflectors do not light up.
I dont think the wires on the are long enough to reach where fogs would go but I do have a set of raybrigg foglights seperatly wired.
WTDRs down for now but Ill putup a couple of pictures in a while and one showing with the front bumper removed so you can identify the wires Im talking about

do it yourself and save money because I have 2 friends that took theirs to a shop and they fucked it up. The holes are too big.... so DIY !! take your time.

In JDM/european OEM solution they are NOT sidemarkers, and are NOT turned on with parking lights.

They are turn indicators and blink exactly like rear turn indicators in taillights
