what other companies make ITBS besides TWM and Toda....if u guys know any can u link me to their site?

im not doubting TWM buti was seein if there are other brands that run a lil cheaper in price

where can u find a set for cheap?...oh yea i seen this car on here that had throttle bodies and the brand name was A-Sports....anyone ever heard of them?

those aren't that cheap either, i think lowest i was quoted on a'sports is 1750. if you want cheap as in under a grand, try custom. if you want quality then spend the extra bucks to have the best toys.

I've heard bad things with the plates sticking on the TWMs.

I ran Toda's on mine. They were awesome for 1.8 Liters, but for anything larger I would go Jenvey.

I believe they're around 48mm.

thw twm's are supposedly fixed now and the toda's are 43mm at the plates I believe. Been do my research here lately len.

well i was gonna do the bike ITBS but my tuner said there too small and ill lose power on top end and sometimes the throtlle sticks...and im lookin to spend around like 1100-1200...arent TWM's like 1700?

My bad, it is around 42-43mm at the butterfly. Wishful thinking on my part. Jenvey's = Yummy.

51mm taper throttles are:
51mm at the open air end,
48mm at the blade and
45mm at the manifold

I have heard that Jenvey makes kits for hayward, but you can go custom Jenvey if Haward does not suit your setup. At least thats what I have gathered from reading, I may be wrong.

on my twm's i changed the throttle return springs and it made the linkage alot smoother and free....

Other way around.
Hayward makes there kit with Jenvey parts, but the hayward kit is their design of parts.
I have Jenveys but were done by DonF here on h-tec, not Hayward.. you cant go wrong either way
