yea, they're good if you show up in a 800hp corvette or a 600hp civic but if you have something that doesnt seem special to them, they half *** the **** out of it, then they take your car out and beat the crap out of it for a couple miles.

I live like 3 miles from mufflex, one of my good friends lives literally close enough to see mufflex from his front yard and none of us go there because of bad experience our friends and other people we know have had.

I know people have good experiences there, but I just want to show the other side of what goes on there.

that's good for you. A good deal of the stuff I have seen come out of there is absolutely unacceptable for a professional business to let out of their garage.

If somebody went into my shop with crap, and acted like they drove in with a bentley, they would get crap in return.. They dohave a shop, and should uphold a certain business ethic, but some people/customers are rude and think their **** dont stink. Then after they leave, they wonder why their $400 exhaust doesnt look like the next guys $400 exhaust..

I can't believe you used the phrase "business ethic" in the same paragraph as " Then after they leave, they wonder why their $400 exhaust doesnt look like the next guys $400 exhaust. . ."

I really hope you don't run a business that involves working on other people's stuff.

EVERYBODY that pays $400 for an exhaust deserves to have the same quality, good looking, leak free, non rattling, properly welded exhaust.

Oh wait, I don't have a 600hp civic. No surprise there. There's no need to be an arrogant ***** about it. . .

I had some work done by mufflex. Price was nothing to write home about, but I got to stand under my car w/ the tech and tell him exactly how I wanted things done. They didn't mind at all.

This was years ago though (when fmu = engine management ), fwiw.
