we got the pistos, the cams the springs and we put all of it together.....what are we supposed to do to get it to work good... the timing needs to be advanced because of the pistons how much????? if not chipped it won't work???? how to tune this properly? do i need to advance the vtec point etc.....please
Double check your piston to valve clearance, as that is very important...Timing usually has to be retarded somewhat until tuning is possible...A wideband 02 sensor and contoller would be ideal so you can maintain a good A/F ratio until you can get it dynoed....A fuel pressure regulator and a new ECU (Hondata) or some kind of piggyback like a VAFC will be necessary to adjust everything to ideal specs.......It will probably run pretty shitty until you get some ECU tuning done........
Your going to need a chipped ecu or an ecu with a socket for 28 pin eprom programs.....
You will need some one to send you a programmed chip for your motor setup & injectors, fuel pressure etc...
It will just be a guessing game unless you purchase a wideband 02 sensor & learn to tune your vehicle using ubderdata, crome, aem, hondata or any of these programs etc...

so new injectors is a must??? vtec has to be moved as well??? what about the redline does it have to be at about 8500 or so??? we are trying to chip the ecu with a product called unichip dastek but i don't know if that would be a wise choice....on the dyno it showed only 170hp and a flta downfall when the vtec hits...and tahn it goes up but not as high as it should....
