The front corner lights on a crx, is it legal to have blue bulbs in the part of the corner light that is normally clear-white, and I not talking about the turn signals.

 

No I don't think so. Only White or Orange

 

I got pulled over for that a few years ago. It was pretty funny. I was heading south on this street and at 9 pm got pulled over for speeding. At 3 am the next morning I was heading north and got pulled over directly across the street for blue lights. I'd rock white/amber if you want to be legal.

 

When I had my EF & had the bluish bulbs in my corner's, I failed inspection b/c tehy were not amber, so it probably depends on your location.

 

Here in New York even white gets you tickets. ******* ****'s.

thats why you use amber with blue LED's toss the amber light on one end of a three way switch and the blue Led's on the other end. than use a clear lense, toss the switche and the amber light switches off and the Blue LED's light up the lenses.

 

im pretty sure its illegal to have the blue bulb. i got pulled over and they gave me a stupid *** little ticket for that. shows how much time cops really have huh.

 

ya blue is definately not legal, and if your car looks ricey at all then you could end up with a bigger ticket than you deserve for something like speeding I have orange (more so than amber) parking lights and white signal lights and I have never had problems with legalities... oh and that whole switch action mentioned erlier sounds cool but I got lost after the first 10 words or so lol.... too complicated.

 

lol, I did somthing similar to what I sugested on my last car mainly just switched it on in parking lots and when you hit the streets just switch the blue lights off and switch back to the amber colored lights.

No, it is illegal in CA.
