How much could i get for this motor?

Default How much could i get for this motor?

I know this might not be the best place to put this post but i got no answers or help from anyone else at the eg/del sol or classified threads. I figured you guys might know or have a good estimate. thanx guys

mini me swap y7/8
zc pistons
aem cam gear
aem alt pully
unorthodox under drive pully
dc header
ported polished intake manifoldand head
centerforce clutch
weapon r intake

maybe 800-1000, theres nothing really major done to it. a y8 block costs about 150 bucks, p&p 200, pistons-130 new, pulleys-100, clutch and header about 400.

i guys im not sure what it came out of i am buying the car with the motor in it. i am getting rid of it b/c i am doing a type r swap

you realize mchone that a Y7 block with a Y8 head and gasket running PM7 pistons yeilds a compression ratio of roughly 14.4:1 compression.

i really have no idea i dont know much about the y7 or y8s. that is why i want to know a decent price for it and plan on selling it when i get my other motor. this is whats all on the motor when i buy the car. im not touchin any of it

if it does in fact have those pistons in there it is not going to be very fun driving it back here. do some research on what kind of gas it takes to support 14.4:1 compression with a vafc to tune it

he says hes been driving with them no problem and it does have a vafc in it. would it be best just to use that and dump a bunch of fuel in it or somethin

maybe the guy doesnt really know what he has for pistons or is mistaken. ill have to ask him what the deal is with that.
