Default installing ARP rod bolts

okay i just read that u need to take ur rod to a machine shop in order for them to press in the new arp rod bolts. is this true?

how do they install the bolts? has anyone of u installed tehm w/o go n to a machine shop. if so how did u do it

take then to the machine shop, they rods would need to be trued after the install.

you can size the rods your self if you want , but you will need to know the stretch specs for the bolts and poss. a tap set , ... you do not need to have a machine shop press them in , because there is no pressing needed but keep in mind if they are not strtched correctly you will have beairng , prob.... i guess in a nut shell if you have installed oem rod. bolts you can do it yourself , if you have never done rod bolts , have yuor local tuner do it ....
