just wondering what everyones Redline at or where you switch gears. Ive seen a couple of guys rev to 9500rpm

So far ive been up to 9250. I havent been on the dyno yet to see where it can go to, but more importantly where I should take it to for the best shift rpm in the torque band.
I could probably take it to 10500 all day if I wanted to.

 

15000 is pretty sweet. thats what i take mien up to

 

this place smells like Otto's jacket...about 7K on the LS.

 

Just turned 8380 on my stock block D for like the 12th time yesterday.

Record rev has been 8860 by my brother on a mis-shift....

I usually shift her at around 7300 though.

Stock b18b motor.. I usually shift around 6,700 rpm

 

Mybuilt D16Z6 engine can rev to 7500 safely
i take it normally around 7200

and it has seen 7645 a few times

 

i went to 8200 on the built D.

 

seen 9500 @15psi but now i shift at 8700 with 20psi

 

8K on my ls/vtec with pistons and rods.

 

16000. Oh wait are we talking about cars?
lol. I took my R up to 9200 when i had it . still was making power too

 

I shifted my dohc zc at 8100
stock motor..
But i bent a valve.. So now i shift at 7200 at 10psi

 

yeha im thinking about 9500rpm myself.

 

18k, all stock TyPeRRRRR head, 239841978k miles.
