the switch that changes the air from hot to cold on the dash of my '98 Integra apparently disconnected from whatever it moves to control the temp of the air. The switch was stuck, and as I was moving it, it seemed to have popped out.

PLEASE HELP! IT'S COLD!!!

Maybe only the **** broke? Happened to our '98, that seems to be the weak spot, & it's easy to replace.

 

I do have an Integra, I accidently wrote Accord because that was my old car. Sorry!

 

How much did the **** cost? Did you have to do much more than just remove the middle panel to replace?

 

Well, since I thought you were talking about a '98 Accord, ignore what I said. The Accord has a round **** that likes to break.

Integras have a cable going down to the air box, below the stereo. You can see levers & stuff if you stick your head down in the passenger footwell. Maybe the cable is broke or disconnected? The cable operates a couple levers for air dampers. Then there's a second cable going out to the heater valve just outside the firewall.

You might have to remove some parts of the dashboard or console in order to see what's broken...
