Default ? for all the sohc experts............

i have a 89 crx hf that needs a head will a 91 si head work i know it will fit but will it run........... i know hf is 8 valves and the si is 16 ive been told it will work just want more opinions

Don't waste your time or money. It will work but you will also need to change the pistons in that engine because they are short 2 valve pockets. If your going to stay sohc, then swap a sohc v tec in it.

im just puttin the car together to sale i have the parts already im askin if itll work with the pistons that it has

i would drop in a d16z6 or even an d16a6. i had a bent valve on my old head and gave it up for a z6 and i have never looked back
