Default Are these block the same??

Need Help fast!!
I have a '91 Dx engine # d15b2 with a burnt valve and groved oil seal journels.
I was going to swap with '88 crx si 1.6l but that had a boss for the belt trnsioner that was cracked out in the block Can I use the '91 block with the 88 si guts are the d-series blocks all the same.
Please help quick I live in Canada and I need a winter beater on the road before the snow flies.

The block internals won't match, but the good news for you is that the heads are interchangeable. Actually the only difference between the heads is the camshaft; if you leave the SI camshaft in, you must have an adjustable cam gear for the smaller 1.5 block to make sure the timing is right, and if you swap back the DX everything will line on up and off you go no worry.

you could put the SI head onto the DX block, but i'm assuming you dont know too much, so i'd take the intake manifold off the DX head and put it onthe SI head
so you'd have a dx block and intake manifold with an si head.

now if i'm assuming wrong and you are infact tech savy, then you can convert your DX to multiport fuel injection. whcih is a whole 'nother story

So I can not put the guts from the si to the dx block what is different?
Cause I thought that the crank throw was the only difference the bore is suppased to be the same.
