Well I went to the drag strip again with my 90 Civic, with a ZC turbo, running 7 pounds with a ZDyne ECU "tuned made 127 hp WTF?!", dsm smic, si trans, no cat.

Ran a 15.4 but that was shifting into 3rd and 4th at about 6,200. Trans wont go into gear any higher "synchros out? I tried synchromesh also". I also weighed the car while I was there without me in it weighed 2240.

Anyway Im disgusted with it. My plans are to swap in a DX trans, I was told this will allow me to hold 3rd gear in the 1/4 mile and will help my times. Also was considering raising the boost and getting a FMIC. Im using the greddy kit from the 92-95 civic. Problem is I have power steering and I am very limited with space. Does anyone have a Greddy IC on a Civic/CRX? Thats the only one I think I can possible use since the piping flows back around.

Anything to help me out to atleast get into the 14's please!

WTF? 127hp? A 15.4? WTF? Ehhhhh, how was the motor when you bought it? Slicks? Street tires? Man, I am disgusted too... There's no need to swap in a DX tranny, the EG guys would love to have an A6 tranny on their Z6's. You should be so lucky!

I don't know much about ZDyne ECU's, but maybe better fuel management (turboedit)?

 

How's your compression?

 

that's all wrong man. I was making more than that and running faster than that in with an all motor y8 in my dx coupe.

What kind of dyno were you on and were'd you tune at?

Seems a bit low to me.

Even at that, 130 to the wheels should be running around a half second plus faster...at least. Practice your launch and shifting technique and maybe rebuild that tranny...it's a good one.
