Corbeu CR1's into EG
I just picked up some Corbeau CR1 seats. I dont have the money to buy the Corbeau brackets and sliders. I thaught of this:
Stock sliders
2" x 1/4" thick plate of metal
bolt the plates to the bottom of the seats, than bolt the plates and seats to the sliders.
Will this idea work?

Absolutely, but the seats will sit pretty high. You'd be surprised how much of a difference 1/4 inch makes when you're sitting on it.

i wold recomend getting teh brackets, i had cr1's in my eg coupe once, i sold them tho cause i didnt like it. dont jimmy rig your own safety! that would be dumb, the rails are only like 75 a piece, at least thats what i paid!
But if you think about it, the brackets are only about an 1/8 of an inch thick so this would be just as strong if not stronger, but right now im looking into S2000 seats because i think the guy backed out of the deal for the CR1's. I was goin to trade rims for seats but than he got a cash offer.
