Default Injector wiring question.(Quick disconnect adapter plugs for different styles)

Sorry not for a honda but its still for a FI vehicle and if it works it could be done on a honda.

My friend just got a URD kit for his supercharged TRD Tacoma and it comes with bosch injectors which require you to modify the wiring harness and use the bosch clips. Here is the kit http://www.urdusa.com/Merchant..._Code=

My question is; Can you put a connector in between the adapter plug and the wiring harness so he can easily swap back to the stock injectors for smog?

The connectors I was thinking about are just simple rc car connectors like these Deans pieces. They also have very low resistance.

What do you guys think? Will this work?
Thanks

Edit: That pic above is pretty close to there actual size too.

Has any one atleast seen what I'm talking about.

The only thing that has me wondering is if the resistance(if any) from the conncetor would change the way the injector pulses.
