HK guys, what's your view on MP7 air compressor?

HK guys, what's your view on MP7 air compressor?
I'm in HK right now and has heard of this MP7 air compressor. I'm not sure how it works, guess sort of like a supercharger? Do you think it's worth it (sell for under 200 us dollar) and will it work on a usdm type R?

I wouldn't put one on my car. Basically it leans out the whole rpm range. I would use a VAFC instead. A VAFC cost just little more.
