Default What parts from ls will work for my gsr swap?

Yes I have searched!

I have a wrecked 95 ls integra (auto) sitting in my back yard. I'm wondering what parts I can rob from it for my B18c1 swap into my 89crx si. The gsr engine that I have is missing the alternator and bracket, injectors, mounting brackets, and some other stuff. Can I use the mounts from it or do I need the 90-93 integ mounts? Anyway, please help. If I cant rob from this motor than I will just sell the motor as a whole instead of in pieces. Thanks!

In order to put a b-series into your 89 crx, you need to buy custom b-series motor mounts (Hasport, Place Racing, etc...) The only thing that you would need is the back engine bracket. Stock b-series mount will do you no good. Also it all depends what year your GSR motor is, too. Most integra parts are interchangeable, but you have to remember about the obd compatibility. Your crx is obd0. To save you the headache, you would need an obd0 b16 ecu, obd0 injectors, and obd0 distributor, from a 90-91 integra or first generation b16 if you do not want to do a lot of wiring. And remember, your car is equipped with a cable transmission. 94 and up b-series are hydraulic transmission. If you do not know what you are doing, I suggest you not do it yourself. And of course, it all depends on what kind of ecu you want to run. Wiring will be a bitch, so do not attempt to do it yourself, if you have no experience with it. Know your obd compatibilities first.

Thanks for the reply. I know I need the hasport mounts, linkage, and axles and I already have a cable j1 tranny. The block I am using is a 95 but the head is a 2000. I have a obd1 intake manifold. As far as the wiring goes I was thinking of using the obd1 plugs from the ls than adding the extra wires. I just dont know if the alternator bracket and alternator will fit the gsr. I also was hoping to use the stock drivers side mount bracket (the one that is bolted to the block). I also was hoping to use the injectors from the LS. I think the obd1 o2 sensors are all the same so I want to use that as well. Thanks again for the help!

im using obd1 dizzy obd1 alternator, obd0 injectors, p28 ecu chipped. All the integra stuff should be interchangeable i dont know about the fuel rail though...ive never looked at an ls fuel rail up close to compare them. Why dont u use the crx/civic injectors so you dont have to convert them?

Well I would use my stock crx injectors but I have heard that it wont pass the ref inspection. I would like to make this a legit swap. Plus, if I use the obd1 injectors I will be eliminating the resistor box. As far as I know I dont think you can mix-max obd and be legal. I have a GSR fuel rail already so im good there. It sounds like I can use alot of the parts from the LS if the parts are interchangeable. Thanks for all of the help guys!
