Default anyone have time for a quicky

This should be an easy question for someone to answer. Ok the maintanince(spelling Iam tired) required thingy at the bottom of the seedometer... what color should it be. Mine was always green and now its more of a light orange color. What is this telling me. Iam not throwing any codes. Does this mean that my oil needs cause its hasnt been changed for a while and Iam thinking that if it was something serious I would have a check engine light or something. Well thanks for the help. Happy holidays

Troy

It will always be green until it gets near certain mileage intervals as it gets near them it starts to change to red, when it finally gets to red you are past that mileage check up, now you have two options, do the maitenence yourself and then there is a little slit next to the light take your car key and stick it in that little slit it will turn the light green again, or take it to the dealership let them do their thing(hopefully they dont' charge you and arm and a leg for something you could have done yourself) and they will take your key and turn the light green again, it's just a light to remind you the car needs regular maitenence.
