D16Z6 turbo kit on a B18C
I was just wondering if you could put a d16z6 turbo kit on a 92 hatch with a gsr swap if you changed the manifold and down pipe, or is the piping all different. The only reason I ask this is out of curiousity and d16 kits seem to be alot cheaper.
damn... its a big NO !! First the fuel management of the kit is made for a D16 computer, the turbo is not the right size, maybe the piping could be used...
You better do it custom .... I mean piece a good kit by yourself....

if the piping is for the same chassis most of it should work without major mods. the only big deal i can see is the location of the gsr tb vs other motors.

he can always get it retuned if it's tunable. the turbo... well depends on what the old kit had... i had an sc61 in my d16 turbo kit lol... would be fine for a gsr
it all depends on exactly what he has.
