Call Omni Power. They will be more than happy to help you out on tuning these cams. I purchased mine from them and they helped me on determining my settings for my B16. Good luck.

if i remember correctly it was .007 for intake and .009 for exhaust. my cams are at the shop, so i cant verify exactly[right now], but if you look on the instructions with the box they came in, it should say. if not i'll reply tomorrow for you guys

good starting point; use the valve lash they recommend! and work your way up through there with fuel and ignition timing goodluck from USA
oh by the way, i used the .007 and .009 setting for valvelash myself.

set the cams to stock lash.

Cam Setting: THEY NEED TO BE DEGREED IN.

buddyclub camgears have zero markings for centering up and crap, so u will have a hard time if you have never done this before, but you need to go read on how to degree them in so they will run

they seem to line up alright with other brand cam gears enough to drive... but i would still set them up properly

john, the stock valve lash is what they recommend right? i thought stock valve lash was .007 and .009 which is what BC recommends? agree/disagree?

i asked BuddyClubUSA9 for the recommendation, this is what he told me.
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
(7:25 AM 11/12/2004) BuddyClubUSA9: V/C IN .007 EX .008
IN 25 BTDC (1mm Open)
IN 45 ABDC (1mm Open)

EX 45 BDDC (1mm Open)
EX 20 ATDC (1mm Open)
</TD></TR></TABLE>
a little different than what the spec sheet stated. does compression affect how the valve lash adjusted ? cuz i told him i slighlty milled the head, so my compression is around 11.0:1. but i doubt it has anything to do with milling the head.

im not quite sure by what u mean by
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

i believe it has the marking at 2 position, is it that much different than any other cam gear ?

btw, any of you guys are using the bc3+ ? what did you set ur cam to ?
thanks btw, for all of you that replied

take pictures of those cam gears if you can please...

with your head milled i do believe you advance 1 degree for every .012 of mill off the head. so advance both of your gears that amount. other than that nobodys cam gear settings are applicable to you since your motor is different than everyone else's

thanks john for your info, i really appreciate it . i have some pics of the cam gear, i will post it up soon.

ok i milled the head around 0.5mm which is equal to 0.0197 inches. do i advance to +2 on both intake and exhaust ? or leave it at +1

would i be using that value as a base value for my starting point, like other at 0. in other words with the head milled like mine i start degreeing the cam at +1 or +2 , and work you way from there as oppose to other who start at 0.
am i correct, or i got it all wrong. sorry for such a newbieness question and thanks again

i would move +1 int and exhaust and check ign timing take it for a spin.
i think each mark on yours is 2 degrees?? of so u can leave it there, or if you want u can probably try +2 int and ex and redo your timing see how it feels.
good luck

I have a b16 milled head and flat bottom valves so I have about 11:1. Mine is set at 2+ intake 0 exhaust.

(8:14 AM 11/12/2004) fro5tbite: thank you . i wonder why the spec sheet that come with the cam sayz V/C IN .007 EX .009, or the v/c you gave me is the best from your experience. thanks again for your time

(1:43 AM 11/16/2004) BuddyClubUSA9: That must have been a typo...the correct V/C is IN .007 EX .008.
</TD></TR></TABLE>
