i LOVE the 99-00 si guages!!! i was wondering if they can somehow fit or can be fabricated to fit my ex eg cluster? i searched and didn't find anything! thanks

with the right modifications it will,

 

any pics. i remember seeing where someone took the faceplate of the si and placed it under the black plastic of the eg. does anyone know if the guages needs to be rewired?

why not just put the si cluster in your eg?

beatkidd and p1ru-thless of ej squad both have ek clusters in their cars. beatkidd has ctr, p1ru-thless has a crv

really? i shouldve checked it out when we were at the ej squad meet. any pics though?

 

You can put them in an eg but they fit like *** unless you do some serious customizing. Clusters that don't fit right get a

 

i remember someone did it on here but i dont remember who. anyhow, who wants to host the pics? i saved them...

soooo.. you just took the plastic from the eg cluster and mated it to the Si cluster and voila?? goddamn I think ima have to do this.

i did the swap. I wired it to my existing eg cluster harness. Some people just replace the eg cluster faces with the SI's.

I used the ek SI cluster, took it out of the case, cut around edges to fit into eg cluster. Then wired SI cluster plug to EG harness. I followed the wiring pinouts from here:

The only problem i had was getting the needles to light up. Never really looked into it. Basically, you need the ek cluster and harness plugs if you're going to wire it rather than just replacing the gauge faces.
