I have a Greddy Thrust **** that my friend gave me to put on my 93 civic. Only problem is that the threads on the **** are too big.
I was thinking to jbweld the whole all the way shut and then tap and die but that seems a little boot leg.
If anybody has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated
the shifter is stock and the knonb is one that looks like so...

(you get the idea)
any help would be awesome... thanks

My friend bought a hatch and the shifter felt really weird after a week. We took the shifter off and found a grip of duct tape on it because the knobb was to big.
So maybe you could use duct tape?

do you think it would thread though?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Depending on how big of a gap there is it might make a new thread on the duct tape. Only downside is that if you shift hard and it starts to wear out your going to have to re ducttape it up.

I have a Leather Razo shift **** that I can't use anymore & I'd really like to. Razo makes pimp shift *****, but I HATE the little plastic deals that you have to use to connect them. Is there any place to buy replacements?

mine rattled after i put in the short shifter (good quality tho). So i wrapped the threads with a piece of electrical tape, and put axle grease in the shift boot, and its all good.
P.S. axle grease never goes away. we made a smiley face on the asphalt, 3 months later, still looks new. the smiley face of axle grease i mean.
