Default Found the Oil Leak Cause, Now Need Help on How/What to Fix

I found the root cause of the oil leak finally. I had tracked the leak up towards the top of the engine bay....close to the valve cover...The actual leak is coming from ????? Here is a picture of the leak...and the component its coming from....must be the oil pump??? I see it has a radiator hose connected to it....but I am leaking oil.

here are the pics....What do I need to replace in order to fix this problem? and what is the component called?

thanks

Fixed

Can you get more of a zoomed-out pic?

edit, nevermind, that looks like the thermostat housing. Is it right below the intake?

Yup, thermostat housing. Oil shouldn't be coming out of there...It's probably near that or above....maybe cam seal. Those leak all the time and lots of manufacturers make aftermarket ones.

Check this crappy little black rubber circle thing. That's the cam seal...

its not the cam seal...checked it out. I put my hand under the component I was pointing to....and its leaking....its leaking underneath the component...fresh fluid. Could be red fluid...but it looks like OIL.

I'll take a video clip to show you.

nothing red should be coming out of there unless you got some really cool red antifreeze dye or something....hehe.....coolant/water runs through that so thats not it.....it really probably is the cam seal behind the vtec solenoid dude, they leak on every h22.....you should replace it with an aftermarket metal one, they seal very well, no leaks, i like my str.....

edit: the oil is probably dripping down where you cant see it and it looks like its coming from the water jacket....

you know what...I think your right...atleast I hope you are...it could be coming from under the solenoid.....cause it looks like its wet on that side.

I'll order a new cam seal pronto...see if that stops the leak.

I heard golden eagle is the best.

lol yea, you got some beastly arms.

I would suggest doing all the cam seals at once if you are gonna pull the cams and everything.

i dont think you have to pull them to do that side, but the other side you do for sure .

have a good time with that one.
