Will auto tranny starter fit on a manual tranny engine?
My brother has a starter from a b18 but the engine was automatic and I'm wondering if it will fit on my manual tranny engine...

No sir, it will not.
Auto starter and manual starter are not the same.
The holes don't match up. That's why when you do a automatic to 5-speed conversion, you need a 5-speed starter.

I just dropped an auto d15b2 starter on my d16a6, not sure if the same idea applies to the b series but i will keep this in mind when i try it tonight. and on a side note, b16b starters are different than b16a&b18a/b.
