Default Oil Pressure Guage

I bought an Autometer electronic oil pressure gauge a few weeks ago, but i was wondering if you replace the stock oil pressure switch with the sending unit included with the gauge kit will you throw a code and/or put you into limp mode? If so how should I hook it up so that this does not happen? Thanks in advance!!

Use a T fitting, but NOT into your block. Use a normal BSPT fitting into the block, run a line off the block to a place where you can secure your T fitting and then put put the OEM sender and your new sender there. Make sure to ground it as well.
