Intake manifold Throttle Body setup
Engine: 1.8 liter with mild compression and cams, street/track car.
Goal: 200whp
Details:
LS/VTEC with high 11.x:1 compression.
PR3-3 head, with headwork, BCstage3+ cams and Omnipower valvetrain.
Right now ITB's and AIR IM are out of question, simply that this will be a street car.
I was wondering what TB, IM combo would fit this setup.
From research I don't think I would benefit from anything over 65mm when it comes to the TB.
Lets hear your advice or lists your setup!
TIA.

That's what I'm leaning to right now on TB.
Still been hearing good things about Blox.

extrude hone is an expensive process that will net little gain. Send it to a porter. You're entirely correct that a 65mm throttle body plate side will be more than enough. There's a lot of 'stunnas' that throw a 70mm throttle body on their mild cars.

Im using the blox IM on my new motor, just a basic copy of S2 manif. But quite alot cheaper. The R manifold and TB is a good established set up. mabye a little bigger tb, but you can make 200 easy with that IM and TB if everything else provided is up to the task.
