i got a code 17 for speed sensor its pluged in and it workes

what could be the problems i have a 95 civic coupe with b16 thats the only check engine light

i am sick of it

 

it has simply gone bad.

 

make sure it's plugged in all the way.. it has a tendancy to wiggle it's way out over time.. other than that the sensor might just be bad.

 

its its plugged in perfect so its a bad sensor even if it still works that werid

 

reset your ecu and see if it throws the code again before you decide that it's bad..

I have a question (probably stupid one but I could care less) How do you know if you VSS is working or not?

 

well if the miles are turning and the mph is showing correct

my problems is myen is plugged in and it throws a code

 

ok i changed my vss and i reset the ecu still the lights comes on

Check the wiring. Mine was corroded and I had to fix it.
