INDYGLOW GAGUES! SAFE TO INSTALL?
i have a 2002 accord v6 sedan and i want to get indyglow gagues. is it safe in install it? my dad said that if you take off the needles and put them back on, they wont read correctly. is that true? can you help me? i asked many people who work at IMPORT SHOPS and they told me that they do it everyday, but i dont know if i should trust them.
Well if you don't want to risk screwing up the needles, which you can do very easily, then yeah let the people who do it all the time do it for you. Probably end up paying for something most can do by themeselves but if you are unsure why risk it? Your dad was right, either find an online tutorial on how to do it by yourself or just take it in.
Edit: BTW it's "Indiglow"

u don't take the needles off when installing indiglos. u simply slide in the indiglo face gauges in sideways while fitting the needle into the new face's hole and then its on...easy as pie. use sum double sided tape to stick them down. and yes your gauges will still work. i've done this install about a million times alerady to my car

If you are not careful they can. I have installed many set of indiglo's and have not had any problems. It is a cake job to me so I just charged them $20 bucks.
Hey quick question about indiglos... where do u guys tap into for parking light 12v feed? i installed a set for my friend, everything was cake, but i couldn't find a 12v source so i tapped it into one of his strobe lights that uses the cigarette outlet.. now he has indiglo w/ on/off buttons
