What do you think of my 97 hatch
hey you know what honestly, we joke around, but in all seriousness I would could only rate it on what i would pay for it, because for me and a majority of the others we dont really care for altezzas, body kits and bling bling stuff... It does look we built from what I saw tho and does have a lot of time into it, I just couldnt give you an honest answer on the price tho. I would say look around and see what other hatches with similar parts are going for. Look good parts dont really do much to add to the value of vehicles in my mind as go fast parts do. I would say with those parts you could prolly get 6000 easy maybe even in the upwards of 8s, I dont know all the parts on the car or the exact condition of the car. Good luck with the sale if you decide to sell it tho.

Probably $7500 maybe closer to 8. Depends on if your swap is obdI or obdII. That would be the deciding factor out here in CA. I like the 100 octane or whatever your running in it......
I think it should go for around $6k. I don't think anyone would buy it for more then $7k for sure. It needs a new front bumper to match the rest though. Honest opinion. I also think that the mid-wing and the hood has to go. But it does match somewhat.
I like the engine setup though. Good ups on that.
Don't sell it for any less than $5k though, cause I sold my bro's stock 96 Civic CX with mugen front lip, oem skirts, type-r rear lip, and mugen spoiler for $5000.

Come on guys, The car alone stock, blue book is something like 6,8oo. then add the motor, the turbo kit, paint job, the lip kit, rims, electronics. And it is OBO
Most of the time, when you sell a car (used) you don't include **** like rims, lip kit/body kit, graphics, paint job (I expect my car to have a paint job when I buy it), and "electronics." If you mean a stereo system, that adds like $50 to the overall value. I don't care if it cost you $2,000 , it still isn't something that you are looking for when you buy a car.
However, stuff like the lip kit, wheels, and better stereo do up the cost of new cars at dealers, but not with private party used car transactions. Yes the turbo and swap do add SOME to the total cost, but they aren't worth an extra $3,000 or $4,000.
*smacks head on desk* stupid people make my head hurt.

its not really cause its not our style, but you asked for opinions on honda-tech, and the majority of seasoned ht users, don't like altezzas, bodykits or extravagant useless things on cars.

Okay, in all honesty the most I think you can get for it is about $7,500 MAYBE $8,000 from some stupid rich high school kid.
My last post was not joking/flaming/bashing at all. That was complete honesty. Most people don't go out looking for a used car expecting to pay for a paint job they didn't want. In fact, if you painted the car a different color from the stock color; ie. it was red and you painted it silver, The cost of the car will go down.
Same goes for aftermarket rims. If you go to a dealer and buy a brand new car and want different O.E.M. wheels, you will pay extra for that. But not with a used car.
I'm just telling you that you're expecting to get money for stuff that does nothing to the cost of the car. You can either believe me or not. And if not, good luck selling an extremely over-priced car.
Edit: BTW, your next post is your last post for today. Make it something useful.

i dont think this car is anyones taste on H-T...
but you need to realize, just becuase you put on a kit and stuff, and it cost you money, that doesnt make the price of the car go up, you should probably sell it stock, and sell all the other parts on ebay or something, make your money back

with the exception of the hood I like it... I would say.. 8gs tops... They are right, body kit, etc do not add value, in all honestly they decrease it on trades... The engine swap may also decrease it. Anything other than OEM decreases value of a car.
