Why do I have unever drop?
I finished installing my shocks and springs about 2 weeks ago. The drop was a little unever after a week. It was lower on the left than on the right. I thought it was due to my weight on the left side.
Im on H&R Race springs on koni yellows. I look in the engine bay to see if everything is good, and there are a good 5 threads of the koni yellows that are hidden beneath the top hat on the front right assembly.
Is this the problem? I tried to fix it last night, by just compressing the assembly to see if I could push it down, but no luck.
Im close to taking it to a tire place and say 'fix it please', but that will take $20.
Any ideas on what the dileo is? There is hardly any play with the washer and the tophat, so I am wondering if it is the rubber pieces within the tophat that have the play and are keeping the assembly from being compressed further.
thanks for reading my novel.

I've had several lowered cars with the same results. Some with coilovers some with springs. My 00 LS with tokico coilover kit is currently about 1/4 higher on the passenger side even after counting the threads.
You might want to make sure all of the washers, nuts, rubber pieces are installed properly and in the correct order on all 4 corners.
I had a similar problem in terms of the height of the threads showing, but it never effected the height of my car - that was with Tein SS though.

My car sits at the same height side-to-side, but my GC spring perches are at noticeable different positions on the sleeve on the left and right sides. Just goes to show you how different the weight on each corner is.
But I agree with the above statement, make sure everything is installed in the correct order on those Konis, and make sure everything is tightened down properly.
Did you install the front spring perches in the correct orientation (I've seen several people install them upside down)?
Did you swap the brake line brackets from the stock shocks over to the Konis as directed in the Koni instructions?

yeah. i am going to take the assembly apart for the third time today. If i cant get it to work, I am going to try to find some gc coilovers. arg.
everything is how it should be. the spring is installed well on the perch. i dont really know what it could be.
