Default CAI Installed= CP

First of all it was a pain in the *** because i had to cut it to fit...second of all it needs to be ghetto'd to stay in place because there is nothing holding it down as of now... BTW i haven't put my skunk2 in yet, but i definately didn't notice a difference besides the amazingly loud sound it makes and it kind of seems less responsive. anyone have this problem??

I'll post pics tomorrow.

Is it just a generic CAI? Anyway, it will give you less throttle response than a short ram because it's a longer pipe, it could possibly make it worse than the stock airbox if it is longer than that. Think about a straw, would it be easier to suck water through a 10" straw or a 2 foot straw, same idea. Some people don't like CAI's for that reason.

short ram here....with it boxed off ish...so it hopefully only breaths colder air and not the air from around the engine.

CAI is a waste of money in my opinion.....but that is just me, not bashing.

Pull the clock/radio fuse and put it back in.

Maybe the aem would have been worth the extra money, but I might to try the ecu reset. What exactly would that do?

I dont know what you expect from a cai other than maybe 3-4whp, probably cant feel that little bit of gain.

The ecu reset will do exactly that...reset the settings and it will detect the extra airflow and change the fuel maps accordingly
