Default Clutch kit

Alright so i got a new clutch kit from ARI for my CRX DX and got it installed today. We were all set to put the trans back together and the pressure plate that came with the kit wouldnt fit so we put the new bearings and disc in with the old pressure plate. Now the old pressure plate seems to be in good shape as well, there were no signs if stress or any damage to it. It runs great and the clutch feels fine. My wuestion to your guys is what you think i should do, should i get the right pressure plate and tear it all apart again to put the new one in or should i stick with the setup as it is and just return or sell the new pressure plate?

The car has 154k on it and from the looks of it the clutch we pulled out seems to be the original. So the pressure plate can feasibly have alot of stress on it. So im kinda stuck with the right descision to make.

Any feedback would help

sure if it feels good and run good like new then use it for a while and the next time you need to change the clutch, do the research and make sure you get all the right stuff that fits.
