My 88 Rex SI, has a sohc ZC motor. I was wondering if there is a rev-limiter built into the car? If there is, what is the the red line where the limiter kick in on a stock SI and the sohv ZC motor set up?

Zip that thing up to around 7000 and feel the Fuel Cut Stick.

 

Thanks, that's what I thought that was cutting out, just wondering because I just bought a nice cat back exhaust system by magnaflow from the pick your part for 35 dollars and change. I was noticing that my car gets to that cut-of spot real easy now 7000 I would like 10,000 LOL
