99 Civic Hatch Rear LCA / Sway bar help....
okay i bought an SRR rear sway/tie bar kit yesterday and im waiting for it to get here. from all my research on the HT ive been told i need to either drill holes for the endlinks to mount up or buy si LCA's/SRR LCA's. Well i got underneath my car a couple minutes ago and i noticed there is a hole to the right of where the strut mounts on the LCA. Isnt this the hole that the endlinks mount to?
I was looking at a pic of an Si rear LCA and i have a hole in exactly the same spot that the endlinks mount on the Si. So im wondering why everyone says i'll need new LCA's or drill mine??
thanks
chris

i just installed a stock SI sway bar on my 98 hatch...bolted right up! You don't need SI rear LCA's. It's all the same with mounting holes for the endlinks.
Yea a rear sway bar should bolt up. I believe only when installing a front sway bar on your hatch you need to replace the front LCA the backs should have a mounting point already
