Default storing a tranny - wet or dry?

So I got a really awesome deal on a tranny saturday. The only thing is, I need a different clutch before I can put it in (90 LS motor, 92 LS tranny = different spline count). The tranny pretty much soaked up every last penny I have until after christmas, thus, the tranny is going to have to wait. My question is, since this tranny will be sitting for at least 2 months, probably even til spring, should I drain the oil first, or leave it in there?

Drain it so it no leaky. There will be enough left to coat the internals and keep it happy.
