Default 90 crx drx e-brake adjustment

hey guys ive got a 90 dx rex, the e-brake really sucks on it. i can pull it up all the way and it still moves a lil bit, how can i adjust it? my gurl has a 90si hatch that the ebrake is reallty tight u pull like a quarter of the way up maybe less, can someone please tell me how to do this. oh and if anyone has an si harness for sale please let me know how much. thanks

Look at the e brake, then look back. See the little cover, take it off and tighten the nut. You might need to replace the back brakes soon.

yea just follow the helms manual on top... clockwise to tighten that ebrake up

The right way is to adjust it at the rear drum. Remove the rear drum and you'll see a little wheel with teeth on it in the middle of everything. Give it a few clicks to tighten things up.

No, thats the right way to adjust the rear brakes.

Oh, we're too tight. Didn't see that. Well either way, too tight at the handle usually means too tight at the shoes in the rear. I would see how tight it is back there, dragging shoes on the drums is never good.

Yeah, there are actually 2 problems.

Anyways if you can pull the parking brake all the way up then more then likely your rear brakes need to be changed.

But if its to tight, either someone tighten the parking brake to much or the rear pads are infact dragging.
