Honda wiring question - is there a lock relay?
I’ve been having some problems with the locks on my ’99 LX 4 cyl. When I unlock the front doors, the back doors (and the opposite front door) sometimes open, more often than not, they don’t. The locks will jiggle as if they are getting some juice, but they usually don’t unlock.
I’ve just replaced my driver’s side door lock actuator. It taught me how the inside of the door works, but it didn’t solve the problem - it’s the same as before.
Is there a relay which the door lock wires go through, the ones that tell the back doors to open when the switch on the front doors are hit, or when the key is turned in the front doors, or when I hit my remote open fob (I installed a Honda remote opener several years ago)?
If so, what is the name of this relay, so I can replace it on the assumption that this is my problem?
Thanks!

The power door locks in your car are controlled by what is called the Multiplex Control System. This complicated network controls the door locks, power windows, and the windshield wipers among other things. The diagnostic procedures for this system are beyond the DIYer.
Unfortunately, this is one of those things that are better left to the dealership to repair. It'll probably be cheaper in the long run.

yeah its controlled by the multiplexer. If you have the helms, you can troubleshoot the system enough to trace the problem into one of the multiplexers. It's really not too difficult to do, but it does have a lot of steps to it.
I've replaced my drivers side multiplexer because I blew all my dash lights out of it
It's about a $90 part
and it takes like 30 mins to swap the parts out.
