Default Engine compartment clean up

I am cleaning up my engine compartment a little and am wondering if anyone could share some tips on improving appearance of some of the components in there.

I think I am getting the valve cover powder coated in the spring. I am wondering what to do with the valve cover bolts. there are black but corroded. Can the same shop that does the powder coat do the bolts or should I just paint them myself?

Lots of corroded brackets etc. I am going with gloss black paint vs. the alluminum finish on a lot of the factory brackets. Swapping out a lot of corroded bolts and hardware with hopefully corrosion resistant types. Anyone have a tip on where to get decent nuts, bolts and hardware? I hate seeing a rusty bolt in a clean engine compartment!!

Also,,, what about those nuts holding the shock/suspension on? They are a bit corroded. I would like to get something corrosion resistant for them,, or at least clean and paint the existing nuts.

Any tips would be much appreciated,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
