Default Wheel Painting Weekend - Panda Batallion y0!

y0! Team Panda in effect. Today me and Chris (EF8 ownz U) spent the afternoon painting my 16" Lenso VPDs flat black. We took some pics along the way. Chris was sooooo happy with the results that he decided to do his stock crx si sawblades the same way and represent the "Panda" look.....

Chris also changed my front brake pads after 2 trips to Checker cause the dumb *** barely english speakin dude at the counter gave us the wrong brake pads the 1st time around.

On with some pics...

before we started.....say goodbye silver rims!

all nice and clean, inside and out...

scuffed up a lil and ready for some paint...

the fun begins...

close up of finished product...

a lil comparison...

kinda hard to see, we'll get some day pics soon...

ummmmmmmm.....yeah....a little bit of wear on that pad...

chris's hooptie before with his uneven suspension....took care of that tonight also

dirty *** rim...

clean *** rim...

his weapon of choice...

lil salt and pepper lookin action goin on...

who needs preload?? hehe....

it was rainin outside so he snapped a few in my garage....

came out shitty, he needs some day pics too...

That be it, Panda Batallion in effect sucka's!!

Nope no primer just scuffed them really good with 3M pads. We've done a couple sets of wheels with out using primer and they are still around looking good to this day. I used DUPLICOLOR flat black 500 degree paint on the 16s, Chris used the Krylon stuff.

Thanks for the compliments!

I thought about it, but its not polished and I just got rid of sub-zero's with a polished lip and this has been the look i've wanted for a long time.

They werent bad the way they were, but they were kind of old and beat up. Scratches and scuffs, so I wanted to clean them up. I like both ways, but this just looks so much better to me.

Thanks for the compliments guys.
