Default Distributor on a 4G?

Well, just got my car back from the dealership(they were giving it an oil change and checkup, it was free, otherwise my dad and I would have done it). Come to find out, my distributor is getting close to locking up and dying on me. Just wondering if it's worth investing in an aftermarket distributor(assuming they exist) or should I just get a new factory one to put in?
I've done some looking around online already and haven't been able to turn up any aftermarket distributors for my car anyway.
In addition, if the answer to my first question is yes, than where would I go to find said aftermarket distributor(I've already checked groupbuycenter and a couple of other places)?

I have a stock `92 EX and I'm not planning to do anything other than maybe I/H/E(don't have the money nor inclination to go for an engine swap).

Actually my distributor was replaced for free under a recall a few years back. The recall was for possible failure of the distributor main bearing. There's a good chance yours might be under the recall too. I don't think there is such a thing as an aftermarket distributor, just aftermarket ignition systems, which I really don't know much about anyways.

would the distributer from a 95 EX (F22B1) work? if so, i have an extra Hitachi w/ 59K miles on it (replaced mine only to find that the distributer really had nothing wrong w/ it)...

Even if you get a replacement OEM distributor (like I did after mine died), you will still have the same idle problem and shaking that most F22 guys here have (Such as myself). I would imagine that an upgraded ignition system such as the fore-mentioned MSD would do wonders.
