alternator on B16 in EK?

those of you that have a B16 in the EK the alternator that you are using is it from the D series or does it have to be from a B series like a 2000 si? Sorry for the newbie question

use b series alt..for b-16

well i have a 95 coupe and when my swap was done we used the stock alternater, no problems with it yetand its been three yrs..
