Default Gone but not forgotten

Well I finally sold my pride and joy. Hopefully the new owner will appreciate it as much as I did. I took this car from bone stock to running a 11.75 @ 123 in the 1/4 mile on street tires. I'll build another hatch eventually, but for now I'll be out of the game for a little while. Here's a tribute:

I have been toying with this idea for awhile but I can't bring myself to do it. Congrats on stepping up to the plate. Was it tough to go through with it?

On the one hand it would be great to kill off some debt, but on the other hand if I sell all my stuff (at a loss) once I would just be buying car parts again. Buying retail, selling at a loss, then buying retail again isn't a good business practice

It was wierd to watch it drive off, but I know I did the right thing. The next car I get I will not modify besides some coilovers and wheels. I just want something nice with a/c to drive everyday. I'll build another fast car after I graduate and can actually afford it.

Luckily my mom is a professor at the school I go to so I get like 75% off tuition . That's the only thing keping me from getting a student loan.

I hate to see such an awesome car being sold. I've thought about this same scenario on many occassions, just don't have the heart to do it.

Would you mind saying how much you sold it for? I'm just trying to gauge how much a car like that sells for.

I'll be driving a 1997 Eclipse GS-T for a couple months while I save a little money to get what I want. At least I'll still have boost . And for those that wanted to know, I got $12,300 for it.

Not considering what I put into it, but I didn't expect to get more. I think it was a fair price.
