okay I have a 94 gsr and since I have had it the light for the fuel gauge hasnt worked but now all of a sudden I have lost the one for my speedo which I'd much rather not go without, so I need to know how to change those things. oh and any pics to make changing it easier would be appreciated.

 

i would be curious to find this out too for my older teg... on many many old VW's there are lights that shine down from the top onto the face of the gauges (which what it looks like on my G2) but i know on the G3's there are bulbs on the back side of the gauges to shine through to light up the gauges which i think is the oly illumination on them unlike the older style like i have... (sorry i'm not much help i didn't stick around to help finish the gauge face swap with him to know exactly...)
