Default Honda Accord Rims

Greetings to All...have just purchased a used 1998 Honda Accord LX (still at the dealer as of this writing) The wheels are not alloy rims, just pretty crummy wheel covers that are in poor condition. I have searched on EBAY, etc. for a decent set of 4 alloys but the question seems to always be...is it 4 or 5 lug. I won't be able to pick up the car later in the week but does anyone happen to know if all of these accords are 4 or 5 lug or could it be either one. The engine is the 2.3 liter 4 cylinder (150 hp.) if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance for your replies.
I also believe the stock tires are p-195-65hr-15

I think it's 5 lug. I know up to '97 they were 4 lug.

I have a '99 LX 4 cyl, definately 4 lug. I believe that for the 6th generation ('98 through '02), the I4's all have 4 lugs and the V6s have 5 lugs, but call the dealer to find out for sure.

By the way, with regard to those crummy wheel covers (hubcaps), just pick up new hubcaps from the dealer. They will cost something like $22 each, but will make the wheels look like new. I just put a couple of new ones on mine.

Hey Guys....thanks for your replies. I barely had time to grab another beer to celebrate the steelers victory when I already had 3 replies. The jury so far has voted 2 for 4 lugs and 1 for 5 lugs. Thanks again.

4 lugs. I dont know why they said 5.

4 lugs for 4 cylinders, 5 for 6. Bigger=more.

Read the posts dude. He said his ride is still at the dealership, that's why he's asking us. I think he knows how to count lugs

BTW it is 4 lug. As stated a number of times so far, 4 cyl=4 lugs. Only the V6 accords have 5 for the 6th gen.

and all of the 7th gen engines are DOHC while the 6th gen motors are only SOHC for the 4-bangers. also the 7th gen has better tranny (5-speed autos)
