Default Do any of you guys use an Iceman cold air intake?

It seems to me to be a better intake because it's made out of plastic instead of metal. What do you guys have to say?

It gets very good reviews. Being made of plastic is not the most important factor, the design is also very good. Because the piping is tapered down to the throttle body, it supposedly operates like a velocity stack, which leads to some people liking it more than the AEM CAI or Injen cold air. The only criticism I have heard about the Iceman is that the plastic heats up around the throttle body and the chemicals given off can damage sensors. I think that is pretty unfounded though. I read that in a forum a long time ago, and they gave no proof at all.

yeh the plastic is supposed to not hold heat as much, but in arguement for the rest of the traditional intakes, air flows faster through tighter spaces...
